High Horses are an electronic rock duo from Manchester producing dark synth rock with chunky guitars. Urban Prophecies are an old school fusion brought into today's world with hard hitting rapped vocals and harder hitting guitars. We caught up with Manuel Chowdhury from the band and discussed a whole range of things including Zane Lowe's producer, Sunday roasts and in-car record players, here's how we got on....

I was sent the link to this album under the idea that this band is going to become something quite huge, and for the first time I was sold purely by the 90 second intro which mashed up the likes of Muse, Adam Ant and the Beatles before merging wonderfully into sixties psychedelic opening track Society.

Andy Watts is a veteran of the music world having written music for radio and television as well as providing drums and vocals for platinum selling group The Seahorses. On this EP, Fragments of Bone he brings his own ideas to a wonderfully seductive and vintage sound that brings a well-polished singer songwriter finish with a unique beautiful acoustic touch.

If a band were to be called 'The Noises We Make When No One Is Around', you would think one of two things. Either, wow that’s a mouthful; but you might also think what a mysterious and chilling notion to name a band. They have recently released a new track, which flows perfectly along the latter notion of a haunted sound that infects you with alluring fear.

Cinematic psych duo Saint Agnes recently released their brand new single Old Bone Rattle through London based Energy Snake Records (home of Vuvuvultures). Raw, bold and sultry, the title track showcases the band’s trademark Ennio Morricone rock n’ roll style, trippy Western inspired psychedelic-rock in its purest form. The B-side sees the pair - Jon Tufnell of The Lost Souls Club and Lola Colt’s Kitty Austen - duet on a cover of The Doors’ Roadhouse Blues.

We happened upon Alix from the band, haggling with a street trader over the price of a pair of 'aftermarket' Rayban sunglasses, he went in low and the street urchin demanded he raise his price otherwise his family would be 'going hungry' again. The Law arrived on the scene to check the sellers credentials, whilst he was bumbling away in his thick Eastern European accent, I asked Alix some questions about Right Said Fred, Simon Cowell and Newcastle Brown Ale, here's how it went....
