Formed in Ridgewood, NJ in the summer of 2007, Prawn has extensively toured the US, self-released two EPs and one tour demo. The band self-released their first full length You Can Just Leave It All in June 2011 with Topshelf Records releasing it on vinyl that winter.

Ward Thomas are formed of twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy, they were born in London and grew up on a livestock farm in Hampshire, where, at aged 16, they fell in love with country music, especially the tones of Johnny Cash, Carrie Underwood and The Dixie Chicks.

We were invited into the 'green room' (which wasn't even green) at The Phoenix Arts Centre in Exeter to sit and chat to the ladies about supergroups, Nashville and nappy wearing goats (yes, really!), here's how we got on....

Imagine the scene, I am sat at my desk, wading through the backlog of emails that had amassed in my inbox and I stumbled upon one from a PR company offering me the chance to attend a show in Exeter, he went on to tell me it was an act that have been receiving some great airplay on Radio 2 and recently appeared on BBC Breakfast, ITV This Morning and even did a live session with the one and only ‘Whispering’ Bob Harris. He went on to tell me that the act was a Hampshire based set of female twins called Ward Thomas, we were there….

Twin Hidden are a new indie-pop quintet based in Manchester and London. Matthew Shribman and Sam Lea, the core of the band, began making music together at the age of ten. The video below is what twin hidden can do with 50 hours, a stack of A4 paper, one (1) glue stick, floss and 70 packets of Cheerios (to keep them going).
