We Are Carnivores are a Nottingham Alt Math Rock band made up of four chaps on a galaxy quest of a lifetime. Riding unicorns through fields of melody, big juicy choruses and breakdowns that close down small venues, Harry, James, Alex and Beu write riffs that will stick to your brain like a barnacle and melodies that will catch you if you fall.

Reuben’s debut album Racecar is Racecar Backwards turned 10 on 21st June 2014 and to celebrate a decade of its joyful existence, Xtra Mile Recordings is releasing a two disc deluxe edition of the album later this year.

This 27th of October sees the release of the new single ‘Two Bodies’ from the ever elusive duo Flight Facilities. ‘Two Bodies’ received an exclusive premiere on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 show this past weekend and the single follows the incredibly welcomed announcement of their debut album, ‘Down To Earth’ which is due to release on the same day.

On our way to the gig, we got caught in the most splendid of thunderstorms that you could imagine, if you’ve ever been forced to stop in the slow lane of a motorway because you could not see the road, I sympathise with you….it rained so hard we thought it was THORsday (after THOR, the hammer-wielding god associated with thunder, lightning, storms). Singer siblings Luke and Annie Roes have been riding an upward spiral since their return from Vancouver last fall: winning a contest from 98.1 Free FM in January, recording ‘Mary’ at EMAC Studios in the spring and garnering their first commercial radio play for the self-titled single.
