Hitchin born singer-songwriter Rhodes is currently away writing his debut album but has snuck out a teaser in the way of brand new track 'The Lakes', available as a free download here. Forever penning haunting, beautiful melodies, 'The Lakes' is no exception and the track gives a wonderful insight to what Rhodes has been silently labouring away at deep in the British countryside...

2014 saw the 25th anniversary of Warp’s longest-serving artist Nightmares On Wax. We celebrated with the ‘N.O.W. Is The Time’ best-of boxset, reissues of their back catalogue on vinyl, and a worldwide tour.

Funeral for a Friend release their new album 'Chapter & Verse' on January 19th 2015 and to help promote it, they set up an 8 date UK tour. We were invited to the gig to have a chat with the band and to catch the opening night at The Fleece in Bristol. Adrian Grainger's name came up in the 'musicmuso lottery' so he left work early and slogged up the M5 to Bristol where he met up with guitarist Kris Coombs-Roberts before the show to chat about all and sundry (interview to be posted shortly folks) and to enjoy the performance, here's how he got on....

Isle Of Wight’s Michael and David Champion aka CHAMPS herald the New Year with news of their second album ‘VAMALA’ on 23rd February 2015.

The Weeks 4-track ‘Buttons' EP will be released on Jan 26th 2015 via Caroline / Serpents and Snakes. “Buttons” was released in the US only at the end of Summer 2014 in time to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the band and saw heavy radio support from Nashville, St. Louis, Los Angeles, Peoria, Burlington, Auburn, Albany, Ocean City and more. 

Welsh bedroom-pop group SEAZOO formed in April 2013 and consisted of two humans and a charity shop teddy bear.

2015 will see the blaster of a single 'Panda Pains' released in January, followed by an EP in March and the debut album later in the year.

Coming off an era which saw several Judas Priest albums that have gone down as some of the greatest in the entire history of heavy metal (namely, 1980's 'British Steel' and 1982's 'Screaming for Vengeance'), the band from Birmingham knew that their next release had to 'deliver the goods,' to cement their standing as the leaders of metal. Acclaimed musician, songwriter and performer Andrew Combs, will be releasing a brand new record All These Dreams, on the 26th January via Loose Music. The news comes with the announcement that Combs will be supporting the American renegade Justin Townes Earle on his full stint of UK dates in early 2015.

The Mysterious Freakshow are female-fronted, UK based Alt-Rock and Steampunk Band. Influences range from DarkWave, Punk, Rock & Goth with splashes of Ska. The Freaks are a unique & eclectic bunch! We had the pleasure of watching them perform in Exeter when they played support to Bob Geldof and his Boomtown Rats, we sat down after the show and had a good chat about Steampunk, fascinating band member facts and meeting Sir Bob, here's how we got on....

Atlas Losing Grip are a Swedish melodic/alternative crossover punk band consisting of Niklas Olsson (Vocals), Stefan Bratt (Bass), Gustav Burn (Guitars), Max Huddén (Guitars) & Julian Guedj (Drums), the guys are managed by Flo V. Schwarz.
