Lucy Rose is set to play her first headline UK tour in 18 months this spring. The acclaimed singer takes her five piece band out on the road throughout March to play some new material from her second album, due later in the year.

Snowapple is three young women from Amsterdam who sing sweet harmonies and play a large collection of instruments, all delivered in a quirky, unique and beautiful style.

We caught up with the ladies at a caravan snack bar in a lay-by just off the M25 motorway one cold Sunday afternoon, they ordered chips with mayonnaise whilst I went for a traditional (100% beef) burger with onions. We sat down and waited for the food to arrive and chatted about Supergroups, classic songs and chilling out in Dutch castles, here's how we got on....

‘Animism’, the new studio album from Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq will be released in the UK on January 26th via Six Shooter Records.

John Allen is a German singer songwriter, I could have sworn he was English, I been had a wager with a good friend of mine (who shall remain nameless but is £5 better off than he was), John actually confessed to being German but has got a degree in English Literature.....this didn't really cushion the blow!

He released his new album 'Sophomore' in the UK on December 1st and I was keen to get in contact with him for an interview so I could craft a lovely, professional looking piece on him. We met at Dusseldorf Airport in the Lufthansa 'First' Lounge where, after quaffing far too many complementary champagnes and canapés, we chatted about  touring alongside Frank Turner, beard maintenance and seeing Bob Dylan (for his first ever gig!), here's how we got on.....Hic!

LA based dreamer Dalton has unveiled ‘Touch’, the fuzzed up b-side to his single ‘Only Names’, which is released today via In Stereo Records. A raw slice of power-pop, ‘Touch’ hints at the varied sounds and textures on his forthcoming debut album, to be released via Fierce Panda in February 2015. 

Liverpool’s The Little Secrets are Kevin Dixon and Stacy Jo.  Formed in 2010 after meeting at The Cavern, Stacy was singing with another band when Kevin spotted her and decided to ‘steal’ her for his new project.  After two years of writing together and experimenting with different line-ups and sounds, the pair hit on their infectious slice of pop, echoing the likes of Camera Obscura and BMX Bandits.  

On March 23rd Frank Black And The Catholics release the complete recordings box set on Cooking Vinyl. The 7 CD box features all of the band’s 6 studio albums plus a bonus cd entitled True Blue which is made up of recordings from the Black Letter Days album sessions.
