Looe Music Festival is three days (29th Sept - 1st Oct) of superb live music in a magical setting on the stunning Cornish coast. A ‘grown-up’ music festival where camping isn’t a prerequisite, where you can visit for the day or the weekend, stay in comfort and eat like a king.

We heard that a Plymouth based rock 'n roll band called Velvet Echoes were on the bill so we thought that a chat with them ahead of the event, here's how we got on....

For three days in September the little town of Looe in South East Cornwall gets hit with big music, manic entertainment and a smattering of culture for good measure. The festival pops up from nowhere to transform the beach and the streets, giving locals & visitors from all over the world a chance to mingle and enjoy the show. Everywhere is the venue, everybody’s welcome to the party. And every year, we try to push it one step further.

We heard that a truly amazing band (who we have seen a couple of times before) called TANKUS THE HENGE are set to play the festival so we thought that a chat with the front man Jaz Delorean was in order, here's how we got on....

The 2017 Festival in a Day took place at Hyde Park in the heart of London, amongst the stellar lineup were Stereophonics, Shania Twain, Blondie and headliners Take That, read on to see how the day unfolded.

We heard that they were performing at this year's LOOE MUSIC FESTIVAL so thought we'd chat to them ahead of the event, here's how it went....

Simian Ghost emerged from a recording project by Swedish songwriter Sebastien Arnstrom. In 2012, their second Album, Youth received acclaim in UK newspapers such as The Times and The Guardian. This work, combined with their UK appearances also led to being featured on BBC 6 Music. Since then they have produced an epic 18 track album titled The Veil.

We took a listen to their eponymous fourth studio album, read on to see what we thought.

Formed in 2005, The War On Drugs are a Philadelphia born indie rock band who recently released A Deeper Understanding, their 6th studio album . This is a musical evolution from their first album's Bob Dylan cross 90's Britpop, indie influenced offering which still shows through in several songs on this album. 

Yesterday, September 4th, Chris Martin performed in the Radio 1 Live Lounge from Malibu, as part of Live Lounge Month.

With less than a week until the release of Seán McGowan’s debut EP release on Xtra Mile Recordings, ‘Graft & Grief’ (8 Sept), we caught up with the Southampton-born punk poet to chat about his forthcoming UK headline tour, the recording of his EP and his numerous festival appearances.

Strangers is the The Young’uns fourth studio album, recorded in Castleford and Newcastle, it is firmly and gloriously rooted in the North.  I can only describe it as a veritable box of delights.  There are so many layers to the different tracks; the beauty of the harmonies, haunting accompaniment by guest musicians, stories told with humour and stories of courage and pain.  It is a true showcase for the talents of Sean Cooney,  Michael Hughes and David Eagle who have between them variously written, arranged and curated a commentary on the early part of the 21st Century.

They will be embarking on a massive 38-date nationwide UK tour in September/October 2017 to showcase tracks from the new album and entertain the masses with their most lively and energetic shows to date.

We caught up with vocalist Chris Caines to chat about life on the road, their plans after the tour and what three items they cannot live without....
