The Black Deer Festival is an independent award winning Americana and Country Music Festival held at Eridge Park, Kent from 25 - 27 June 2021 and ties in with the Summer Solstice weekend which is on the same date.

The music will be scattered throughout Black Deer’s spectacular outdoor setting, with sounds ranging from unforgettable sets on the Main Stage to heavier blues rock at the Roadhouse Stage plus the best in Live Fire BBQ cooking and everything ‘Americana’.

Devon’s Beautiful Days, which is scheduled to take place from the 20th– 22nd August 2021 in the grounds of Escot Park, has announced over 50 artists for the 2021 event including headliners Frank Turner and The Sleeping Souls, James and Levellers. Beautiful Days has never just been about the music though – the festival has a seated Theatre Tent, walkabout performances, site art installations, an array of food & crafts stalls and real ale bars run by local brewers Otter Brewery. The 2021 theme is still to be announced!

Silly Boy Blue (aka Ana Benabdelkarim) is a young singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Paris, who started her music career in the band Pégase.

Ana now embodies her music through her solo work, choosing to name her project ‘Silly Boy Blue’ after the David Bowie song that tells the story about a boy who breaks all the rules.

With her new single, ‘The Fight’ out today, we thought it would be a great idea to spend a day with Ana to see what she gets upto….

Larry Mindel's debut album is a very moving body of work that captures a strong sense of love along with emotion through the use of what I consider unique and organic orchestral musical instruments. This includes clarinets, cellos, violins, a soft piano and a saxophone, all of which are in their naked form accompanied with a smooth and soft tenor male voice that carries each tune of lyrics in a mellow, romantic style that I feel can only be considered quite eloquent.

SOPHIA AMATO is a London born singer and songwriter who originates form Scicily who has spent the last few years between London and New York. Her brand new EP ‘Glorious Mess’ is out on May 27th, what better time to catch up with her and ask her to record her very own ‘a day in the life of’ feature….
