We were invited to work with an incredible popstar called SHAB who is supporting Boyzlife (Westilife's Brian McFadden and Boyzone's Keith Duffy). SHAB is American-based pop superstar amassing millions of Youtube views and Spotify streams and with over 330k Instagram followers, her inspiring story is one that her fans are enjoying. We caught up with SHAB in a hotel bar, hours ahead of her performance at Plymouth Pavilions….

The Beatles are one of the most iconic bands of all time, with a career that spanned over a decade and produced some of the most memorable and influential music in history. Throughout their career, they released a total of thirteen studio albums, along with a number of other compilations and live recordings. In this review of their career, we will compare the records by the Beatles, examining the changes in their sound, style, and overall approach to music.

We recently had the pleasure of attending Babybird's concert at the The Fleece in Bristol where the band delivered an energetic and dynamic performance. While not a full house on the first night of the tour, the eager crowd greeted the band warmly.

Out on the road on the back of the release of their new album, Protagonists, Mancunian post punk outfit IST IST took to the good ship Thekla in Bristol and bought their unique sound of dark, moody melodies with powerful vocals and driving rhythms to an eager crowd.

This energetic and lively indie rock quartet from Tewksbury cite influences including Arctic Monkeys, Twenty one Pilots, The 1975, Easy Life and Royal Blood. The group have performed at O2 Institute Birmingham and Lakefest 2022, as well as an array of shows throughout the Midlands and Bristol.

We’ve been busy chatting to acts performing at this year’s English Riviera Food & Music Festival which takes place from 26th - 29th May 2023. With UB40, Scouting for Girls, Coral Palms and Gecko and the Bee ticked off, we thought it would be great to catch up with past X-Factor winner BEN HAENOW about dinner parties, cooking, musical memories and amusing festival stories….

After a late night hosting my radio show on a local FM station, I retired to bed for a few hours sleep ahead of my alarm shouting at me at 6:30am to get my groggy self out of bed and hot foot it to Newton Abbot to see what was happening at Phoenix Sound, the finest independent record shop in the South West by a country mile…..

Dan Whitehouse released his glacial, electronics-heavy opus The Glass Age back in July. Somewhere along the way Dan decided those songs – tender musings on isolation and separation in the era of screens - probably had enough about them to survive a less synthetic treatment.
