Greatest Hits Vol. 1 compiles eleven Warner-era singles and album tracks on a single gold LP. This release includes singles from Transmissions From The Satellite Heart (1993), Clouds Taste Metallic (1995), The Soft Bulletin (1999), Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots (2002), At War With The Mystics (2006), Embryonic (2009) and Oczy Mlody (2017).

Electric Bay Festival, held on Sunday 16th July 2023, marked another incredible year for this annual event which is fast climbing the list of South West events not to be missed . Building upon its previous success in 2022, the festival once again electrified the crowd with a stellar lineup of DJ’s and acts that left attendees buzzing for more.

Pulp playing live at the Neighbourhood Weekender Festival in Warrington on May 28, 2023, was not the first time I saw the band. Despite being a fan since 1995, with the release of the epoch-defining Different Class album (which, to my eternal shame, I thought was their debut release – yeah, only four studio albums out…) I have only seen them twice. This was mainly due to being a callow youth of tender years in their heyday, and so like many, I have been resigned to seeing them on “the nostalgia circuit” (a hateful term, but one that is true enough).

Among the headliners for this year's event is the mighty Craig David, renowned for his infectious blend of R&B, garage, and pop. Get ready to groove to his chart-topping hits and experience his incredible stage presence. Joining him is the powerhouse drum and bass group Pendulum, known for their high-energy performances that will leave you exhilarated.

Located in the sleepy town of Shepton Mallet near Bristol, NASS Festival (aka NASS) is a four-day extravaganza that brings together the vibrant world of street culture. This one-of-a-kind event showcases the perfect blend of music, skateboarding, BMX, and mind-blowing street art, leaving attendees with unforgettable experiences.

I was asked if I’d like to chat to a guy going by the name JOE UNKNOWN who was performing on the main stage at this year’s NASS Festival. Obviously the answer was yes from me so off we trotted to his compound to the artist area where we sat down on a table full of cakes to get down to it….

I returned back to the press cabin at NASS FESTIVAL to be told that I was interviewing an artist called BIIG PIIG, I’ll admit, I was not aware of them at all so spent a few minutes having a crash course on a great performer/rapper called Jessica Smyth aka BIIG PIIG. I had questions, many questions, so backstage I ventured, found a nice spot and had a lovely chat….

20 minutes after arriving at NASS FESTIVAL, I was asked if I’d like to chat to a couple of members from the band EASY LIFE, having caught 20 minutes of their set at Boardmasters Festival in 2022, my appetite was whetted, off to the main stage artist compound we trudged to get ready….

The rain had just eased off so we found a nice spot between the posh toilets and one of the Wu Tang Clan’s porta-cabins to have a nice chat….
