GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL, renowned as ‘The Best the UK has to offer’ and is certainly up there with the likes of other large scale events such as COACHELLA, BURNING MAN and European offerings such as PRIMAVERA SOUND (but without the guarantee of splendid weather). This statement may have been true in the past but after seeing the final lineup for 2024, I question if this is still the case?

British Deathcore quintet Dead Flesh have unveiled their latest video for the single ‘Bodies Upon Bodies’, which was released on February 28th, 2024. The track is taken from the band’s new EP, “Dehumanise”, which is set for release on April 28th, 2024.

South Shields born 24 y/o Sonny Tennet is entering a new era of music. Sonny's stand out vocal and unique songwriting ability have gained him over 60M streams to date and this year he will be releasing his debut album starting with single 'Panorama'. This Pop/R&B outing is Sonny's commentary on how he sees the world today. A lively breakbeat and thumping bass line offset Sonny's soulful vocals, giving throwback 90's vibes.

It’s a bit of a strange venue as I roll up on a cold and wet Saturday night to a location you are more likely to take your granny for a nice Sunday lunch than watch live bands. But that said, its a really nice setup, a nice bar and a lovely big room. Above all, its a sell out and that says so much about the real value of these grassroots gigs.

It’s not everyday you get a band the caliber of FEEDER playing the English Riviera but the 1000 capacity Foundry in the heart of Torquay gave them the rousing welcome they deserved with a sold out show and an enthusiastic crowd.

Sophomore LP Anxious Stargazing Available Now on CD and Digital

Friday 1 March 2024: Yard Act are in Bristol’s Rough Trade to play two shows to celebrate and promote the release of their sophomore album Where’s My Utopia? I kick-started the evening meeting up with new ‘Gig-Friends’ who seem to be at ALL the gigs at The Lanes, a venue situated a stone’s throw from Rough Trade.

Tonight was one of those ‘pinch me’ moments, having seen Skindred entertain the masses at Download Festival and Sonisphere Festival in the past, it was a rare treat to see them performing at a much more intimate venue such as The Foundry in Torquay which isn’t that far from Benji Webb’s beloved Newport in Welsh Wales. The audience knew they were in for a treat with gig-goers travelling in from the far corners of Devon and Cornwall to be in the English Riviera for what promised to be a kick-ass show. 

On the back of releasing her new album Paint My Bedroom Black, Holly has announced her largest UK and European tour to date.

Tonight, Exeter Phoenix played host to an incredible band, a band that have redefined the meaning of chic with their effortless styling of post-punk classics, transforming them from a sweat soaked gig in the 1980’s to a laid back Parisian bar, full of cocktail dresses, strappy heels and bearded musos (not bearded musos in strappy heels), sipping their drinks whilst nodding along to the groovy vibes emanating from the stage.

MERYL STREEK is a performer that we saw in 2023 whilst supporting the mighty P.I.L. on their UK tour, we really enjoyed his set and wanted to learn more about his influences, his dislike of fancy dress, acts that he’s excited about seeing at Bearded Theory Festival and his own dream festival lineup, best buckle up….
