In addition to the Grammy-nominated Shakin’ a Tailfeather children’s album (with Taj Mahal and Linda Tillery and the Cultural Heritage Choir), other noted albums included Friends, which featured Odetta, Charlie Musselwhite, Guy Davis and Mahal as special guests.

Dizraeli is a rapper, multi-instrumentalist and sometime singer taking hip hop to new terrains. Having gone solo in 2009 to record his debut album Engurland (City Shanties), and then spent six years writing and touring with his band Dizraeli & The Small Gods, Dizraeli has gone solo once more to build a new sound.

Field Music are a band from Sunderland, made up of brothers David and Peter Brewis. Celebrated as one of the few bands to transcend and outlast the short-lived NME generated post-punk revival of the noughties, they released their latest album Music For Drifters in April 2015.

Rambling folk singer Will Varley, who walked over 500 miles along England’s south coast with a guitar on his back, is gearing up for the release of his third album Postcards From Ursa Minor. His last two albums received rave reviews from The Independent, fRoots & Q magazine and has been described by Frank Turner, as ‘one the best singer-songwriters in the UK.’

Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland.  Along with the likes of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Sham 69, Stranglers, et al – Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. They wrote initially about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, in songs like Suspect Device and Wasted Life. In November of ’77, they released those two songs on their own Rigid Digits label, and sent a copy to BBC Radio One DJ John Peel, who started playing it every night.

Electro-dub pioneers Dreadzone re-issued their classic 2001 album Sound on their own Dubwiser label this Summer. Dreadzone are still going strong after over 20 years in the game with core members Greg Dread, Leo Williams, MC Spee and legendary reggae vocalist Earl 16 alongside Chris Compton on guitar and Bazil completing the current Dreadzone line up. They continue to tour extensively throughout the UK & Europe, and this re-issue is being accompanied by an extensive set of tour dates.
