There are millions of bands and artists out there, but only a few can truly leave a mark on you forever, Farnborough’s Mega City Four are one of those. Between 1987-1996 they released 14 singles/EPs plus 8 albums and toured the world constantly. They had amazing pop-punk-rock anthems and ‘almost’ made it into the big time.

Mega City Four’s contemporaries include the Manic Street Preachers, Carter USM, Senseless Things and Neds Atomic Dustbin all of which they gave a selfless ‘leg up’ to.

Frontman and songwriter Wiz sadly passed away in 2006.

The Forward 4 Wiz Trust was set up in April 2007 in memory of Wiz’s inspirational approach to music and to life and supports music at grassroots level by way of mentoring, advising and assisting aspiring musicians to drive forward creativity and strengthen community.

A fantastic event has been setup to raise money for the Forward for Wiz Trust and to gather as many friends together for a wonderful night of live music, entertainment with a host of comperes and the best of all, there’s a raffle.
