From Tullamore to the world - CHASING ABBEY's Cyber Celt era begins...

June 10, 2026

Chasing Abbey are opening a new chapter in Irish music. With Seachain out now and their new album Cyber Celt landing on 18 September, the Tullamore trio are stepping into 2026 with the confidence of a band who know exactly what they want to say, how they want to say it, and why it matters.

Ten years on from their early breakout, Chasing Abbey have built something rare: a fiercely loyal Irish fanbase and a global following that treats them like hometown heroes. Platinum records, sold‑out tours, a million followers online, all impressive, but none of it feels like the point. What drives them is evolution.

And Cyber Celt is exactly that: a bold, self‑defined fusion of electronic production and deep‑rooted Irish tradition. The band describe it as “the coming together of ancient and modern; a soulful respect for tradition with a burning desire for innovation.” It’s a mission statement as much as an album teaser.

The lead single’s title translates to “watch out” in Irish, and the message hits hard. Chasing Abbey aren’t shying away from the world’s uglier truths. They’re staring straight at them.

“Never before have so many people consumed so much trauma,” the band say. “This song is a reminder to watch out and never allow evil to be normalised.”

It’s a heavy sentiment, but the track channels it into something powerful: a rallying cry wrapped in their signature electronic‑Celtic hybrid, delivered in the ancient language that gives their music its unmistakable weight.

If you’ve seen Chasing Abbey live, you’ll know their shows are more than concerts, they’re communal, high‑energy, spiritually charged gatherings. The 2026 Cyber Celt World Tour looks set to amplify that energy on a massive scale.
