La Dispute premiered the full album stream of their upcoming full-length Rooms of the House via Noisey recently. The heavily anticipated third album from the Michigan band has already received early praise from taste maker outlets such as Pitchfork, AV Club, Stereogum, and BrooklynVegan and now Noisey voices their approval for the album as well, saying "La Dispute exist completely outside the confines of classification.
Rooms Of The House showcases La Dispute’s drift out into waters that no one else is swimming in...Rooms Of The House is distinctly their own and can more closely be described as the fully realized vision cultivated by the band on their previous two albums. Their trademark poetry-heavy lyrics and speak-shouting style of vocals are prominently on display, except this time, La Dispute has managed to trim away all the fat until they had a tight, laser-crafted finished product."

Rooms of the House was officially released on March 18, 2014 via the band's own newly established label, Better Living, in partnership with Staple Records.
A portion of the proceeds from this record will go toward non-profits and charities who La Dispute connect with and want to support. As part of the pre-order for Rooms of the House, the band is inviting people who order to choose one of three organizations that they would like to support through their purchase, these are 826 National (www.826national.org), Girls Rock Camp Alliance (http://girlsrockcampalliance.org) and Teenage Cancer America (http://www.teencanceramerica.org). The band also recently auctioned off a test press ofRooms of the House for each of the three charities on eBay, raising hundreds of additional dollars for each.
Rooms of the House was recorded and mixed by Will Yip at Studio 4 in Philadelphia, produced by Yip and La Dispute, and mastered at The Lodge by Emily Lazar. Alongside the new record, La Dispute have created a 48-page companion book titled Yesterday's Home that details the working process of writing and recording Rooms of the House as well as a special presentation of the album's lyrics.
To support the release of Rooms of the House, the band are currently on a full North American tour, with dates throughout the rest of the world to follow (all North American tour dates below). Joining La Dispute on this first round of dates will be friends Pianos Become the Teeth and Mansions.
La Dispute is vocalist Jordan Dreyer, guitarists Kevin Whittemore and Chad Morgan-Sterenberg, bassist Adam Vass and drummer Brad Vander Lugt.
