SET IT OFF unleash ferocious new track “Pathological” ahead of self-titled album drop

October 17, 2025

Independent rock powerhouse Set It Off have returned with a vengeance, releasing their blistering new single “Pathological” — the opening salvo from their upcoming self-titled album, due out 7 November 2025.

Following the success of recent radio hits “Punching Bag,” “Rotten,” and “Wolf In Sheep’s Clothing [REBORN],” “Pathological” delivers a venomous mix of rap-infused riffs and raw emotion. It’s a scathing takedown of chronic liars and manipulators, inspired by frontman Cody Carson’s own experiences.

“These people start with small lies to spice up their stories,” Carson explains. “But once they get away with it, they keep going — until it spirals out of control and wrecks everything. This song is for those who used my kindness to get ahead. I don’t need to name names… everyone already knows.”

“Pathological” sets the tone for what promises to be Set It Off’s heaviest and most unfiltered record yet. Their first full-length release since 2022’s “Elsewhere,” the new album marks a bold new chapter for the trio — now fully independent and creatively unleashed.
