Pittsburgh’s metalcore juggernauts 156/Silence have officially joined the Pure Noise Records family — and they’re marking the occasion with a powerful new single, “Our Parting Ways,” accompanied by a striking official music video.
The track is the band’s first release since their acclaimed 2024 full-length People Watching, and it dives deep into themes of memory, loss, and reflection. In their own words, the band describes the song as “a bleeding tribute to the spaces between what was and what is,” capturing the emotional weight of separation and the grace found in remembrance.
On their new label partnership, the band shared: “Pure Noise has always been a label we’ve admired. Signing with them felt like the right move — they’ve been incredibly supportive, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.”
