The Milk Men announce new single ‘Waiting For Some Rock’n’Roll’ and reveal details of forthcoming album 'The Milky Way'

May 1, 2026

With a string of award nominations and a reputation as one of the UK’s most reliable purveyors of high‑octane rhythm and blues, The Milk Men are gearing up for a huge 2026. They recently announced the release of their brand‑new single ‘Waiting For Some Rock’n’Roll’, available across all major platforms.

The track is the first taste of their upcoming studio album The Milky Way, due out Friday 16 May 2026 and now officially open for pre‑orders. If the single is anything to go by, the new record promises a full‑throttle blend of swagger, hooks and classic rock’n’roll grit.

To mark the release, the band have unveiled a brilliantly tongue‑in‑cheek music video directed by filmmaker Ben Mole — a cosmic romp that sees The Milk Men blasting rock’n’roll into the far reaches of the galaxy. Turns out aliens are more than ready to join the party.

To celebrate the arrival of The Milky Way, the band will host an official album launch show at London’s legendary 100 Club on Thursday 14 May 2026, followed by an extensive UK tour running right through to December.

With new music, a new album and a packed touring schedule, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for The Milk Men — and they’re bringing enough rock’n’roll to power a small planet.
