Developed naturally from the touchstones of modern folk, her songwriting has grown into an enchanting blend of sound, informed in equal measure by the spontaneity of live performance and an imaginative outlook on life.

Musicmuso were invited to catch up with Christian D during his weekly trip to the grocery store, whilst Christian was checking out the fabulous range of luxuriously deep filled steak and kidney pies in the 'World Food' section, we thought it would be a great moment to ask him some questions, here's how it went....

The Lost Children formed in 2007 and come from the small market towns of Kettering and Corby in Northamptonshire. Their views and sound, however, are not quite so small.... 

We caught up with the guys whilst trawling some stalls at the Wednesday flea market (in Meadow Road, Kettering), Michael and Drew were bang up for purchasing an original 1970's soda stream machine complete with a bottle of Ginger Beer syrup, Jake and Alex had their eyes on a Rolf Harris Stylophone. Whilst the two couples were debating on whose purchase would have a greater impact for the band, we steamed in with some questions....

Musicmuso caught up with them at the funfair where Daniel May (Bass/Vocals) was debating whether to go on the Waltzers or the Ferris Wheel, whilst he was weighing up the merits of both, we fired a few questions at him, here's how it went....

She has also worked with Big Talk Productions (Channel e4 UK) & Soundtree Studios.

As anyone one wise enough to have caught a show throughout the ‘In Love’ campaign will attest – on the road is where Peace thrive. This footage, expertly shot by Jonnie Craig at the Birmingham show in December, goes someway to capturing the essence of seeing Peace live and the youthful abandon with which their ever-growing crowds of fans get involved.

Following a triumphant 2013 Deaf Havana released their new single ‘Mildred’, on February 11th via BMG Chrysalis. 

Already playlisted on Radio 1, Mildred is written by the band’s Matthew Veck-Gilodi, and co produced by YOUTH (The Verve, Primal Scream and Crowded House), it’s the first song where brothers Matt and James share vocal duties.

Sumner aka Kristina Sarkisova is set to release her new single ‘Shadow Park’ this May. 

A cross between Angel Olsen and Laura Marling, Sumner’s haunting vocals provide an eerie vibe to the track.
