The Color Morale’s new album ‘Hold On Pain Ends’ was released through Fearless Records this week. The release coincides with the unveiling of the band’s video for ‘Prey For Me’ which is now watchable here. According to vocalist Garret Rapp, the track "is a song about self sabotage. It's about using others to find happiness in ourselves. This isn't love; it's disguised hatred for ourselves."

We caught up with Sivu minutes after he left the stage at the Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre where he was supporting Nick Mulvey, we found a nice space amongst the backstage chaos and settled down to chat about social media, playing solo and touring with Bombay Bicycle Club, here’s how we got on….

I met Kim Churchill in a bar in Perranporth, Cornwall, we chatted briefly and I was gutted that I couldn't have stuck around to catch his set. He told me that he was currently on tour and handed me a flyer with dates and venues, on the list was The Cavern Club in Exeter, somewhere we have worked a lot in the past year and a great intimate venue that would really allow Kim to showcase his talent, it was a date!

The Cheek of Her (aka Helen Dooley) is a passionate and driven Singer Songwriter who writes Dramatic, Pop/Rock with lyrics that are intriguingly cleaver, funny and dark all at the same time!

We caught up with her at the food market in Camden where we shared a chickpea curry and chatted about adult angst, chat up lines and Enya, here's how we got on....

Save Your Breath is a Newport based five piece pop punk band who had literally just exited the stage at the Exeter Phoenix Arts Centre on Monday 6th october where they were supporting the mighty Kids in Glass Houses on their 'Farewell Tour', we collared Kristian (vocals) and Tom (Guitar) and had a quick chat about starting the band whilst in short trousers, Kristian's tattoos and playing at SXSW in America, here's how we got on....

Kids in Glass Houses is a five piece Welsh which formed in South Wales in the same fertile scene that also produced the likes of Bullet For My Valentine, Funeral For A Friend and myriad others, Kids In Glass Houses rapidly rose to prominence after being championed by their peers as talented newcomers.

The music business can be a fickle thing at the best of times, we normally run 'Introducing' features on bands that are yet to 'make it', so how did we feel when we were invited to check out a legendary Welsh band called Kids in Glass Houses who were embarking on their Farewell Tour?

Drunk-Folk singer, barefoot troubadour and cult legend Beans on Toast drops his 6th studio album on his 34th Birthday. Swedish trio Baskery have announced will be returning to the UK for select number of dates this October after playing The Borderline in London earlier this year. The tour kicks off at The Islington in London on October 20th and concludes on November 1st at Little Rabbit Barn in Essex.  The three sisters (pictured from left to right: Greta, Sunniva, and Stella) are celebrating their recently signing to Warner Bros. Records globally.

I last saw The Beat back in April 2014 at The South Devon Arts Centre in Totnes and was pleased to see they were back in the Westcountry. The Phoenix Arts Centre is a great little venue, maximum capacity 500, but even then it doesn’t feel too crowded. Read on to see how the gig went down....
