Dreadzone is a British band whose music is an eclectic fusion of dub, reggae, techno, folk and rock. They have so far released nine studio albums and two live albums.

We heard that they were on tour and even better, they were going to be dropping into the Exeter Phoenix on February 13th. We were fortunate enough to catch them in 2015 and they were amazing so we're really looking forward to seeing them rock the roof off the place this year!

We caught up with Greg Dread at his favourite coffee shop where we grabbed a Latte, got comfy and chatted about working with Mick Jones, audience demographics and pre gig rituals, here's how we got on....

Ireland’s internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter Eleanor McEvoy will embark on an eighteen-date UK tour throughout February and March 2015. 

Boston trio Krill are streaming ‘Foot’, taken from their forthcoming album A Distant Fist Unclenching, released February 16th 2015. A wiry and feverish listen, the track is a lyrically compelling exploration of desire, backed by typically unpredictable yet controlled songwriting.

Benjamin Clementine is an artist to compulsively watch and follow. His performance of the title track of this debut EP on Jools Holland in June 2013 was mesmerising and the best contribution to the show. When you think it also included Paul McCartney, Earth, Wind and Fire, Gary Clark, Jr. and the Arctic Monkeys you can see the potential that flows out of this 26 year old Londoner who learned his trade via Paris.

I Am Harlequin is the guise of young, London-based singer-songwriter and producer Anne Freier. Originally from Dresden, Germany, Anne has been writing music since her early childhood, being influenced by the likes of Michael Jackson, Kate Bush and Whitney Houston.

Acclaimed musician, songwriter and performer Andrew Combs, released his brand new record 'All These Dreams', on the 26th January via Loose Music. 'All These Dreams' is the Texan-born troubadour's follow up to his much lauded début album Worried Man in 2012.

We caught up with Andrew a few hours before his Nottingham show where he was supporting Justin Townes Earle, we grabbed a coffee and a slice of carrot cake and chatted about dining with Kris Kristoffersson, his passion for fly-fishing and a distinct lack of sightseeing whilst in the UK, here's how we got on....

DJ Yoda has announced details for his new album, Breakfast Of Champions, released on March 9 2015 through Kartel/Believe Digital. Curated and produced by DJ Yoda, the album features an eleven-strong collective of UK MCs and musicians, including Rex Domino and Mouse Outfit members Sparkz & Truthos Mufasa. The record will be trailed by a new single ‘The Baddest’ (now streaming here) due out on March 16, ahead of an audio-visual headline tour through March, kicking off at Manchester’s Band On The Wall on March 13 and including London’s The Forum on March 14.

Hypnotic Italian electro duo SHIRLEY SAID have unveiled their provocative video for ‘Merry-Go-Round’, an elegant ambient reverie that will form half of their double-A-sided debut single to be released on 23 March 2015. 

In the words of SPIN, “SOFT segues back and forth through the American underground, channelling the garage-rock sludge of Ty Segall and resurrecting the melodic charms of R.E.M.” With a hint of Big Star, SOFT never stops moving bounding from one song to the next, marrying the fast-and-loose ethos of punk underlords like Mac Demarco and the sweet melodies of Unknown Mortal Orchestra has allowed Rathborne to storm the US underground over the past year.
