With the 50th anniversary of his debut solo album coming up soon and news of The Zombies embarking on a UK tour throughout Feb/Mar 2022, we were given the opportunity to catch up with Colin Blunstone of The Zombies and chat about touring, recently discovered tracks, the Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, social media and an amusing story about a string of dates in the Philippines back in 1967, read on to learn more….

It was a cold and dark November night in Exeter, DAYTIME TV were playing at The Cavern on their much postponed and humorously titled “The Tour That Will Absolutely Happen” Tour. It’s been a while since I’ve attended a gig ‘blind’, I don’t mean that I wore a bandana over my eyes all evening, that would have been a silly idea (especially with all of the steps leading down to the venue), I mean that I’d not had chance to check out the band ahead of the show. I’d received some promo on them including news of the new single and that they’re planning on dropping their debut album in February 2022 but being tied up with work and far too many live shows booked into the diary, I hadn’t had chance to sit and ‘research’ the band at all. It could have gone either way on the night, read on to see how I got on….

As their Autumn tour of the UK came to a close, we were invited to catch the mighty PATTERN PUSHER live at The Barrel House in Totnes, a mere couple of miles from musomuso HQ.

After a delay to proceedings thanks to everyone’s favourite virus, Suede’s 25th anniversary (shit, really!?) celebration of defining album ‘Coming Up’ continued at the Manchester Victoria Warehouse - a venue this attendee had never, well, attended before, and was surprised to see how “warehouse-y” it really was.

After hearing that The Ciderhouse Rebellion were hitting the road for a mini UK tour, I wanted to find out a bit more about them. I’d heard that their live shows are electrifying as they create music ‘within the moment together’, so each performance is uniquely magical in its improvisatory focus, this led me to think that surely the tracks that they play at shows would sound completely different every time? Read on to find out the answer to this question as well as some fascinating facts about them both, their musical upbringings, the forthcoming project ‘Ironstone Tales’ and their likes and dislikes of touring….

Glasgow’s Walt Disco today share ‘Macilent’, their third single via Lucky Number. The track continues the band’s run of thundering, highly emotive singles coupled with stunning visuals following ‘Weightless’ and ‘Selfish Lover’. The ‘Macilent’ video was directed by Eric J Liddle and Kasparas Vidunas and the release is also accompanied by the announcement of a UK and European tour for next spring including London Scala – tickets are on sale now.

We caught up with King Charles on the last night of their tour in Bristol which must have been a breeze after completing 40 gigs in 40 days....while running 40 marathons from John O’Groats to Lands End (1782km), and what a show he put on.
