I’m actually struggling to think about what to write in these intro sections of the playlists, I guess doing one a week was okay but when you’re pumping them out every couple of days, you end up thinking about the same things each time and it starts to get a bit repetitive, maybe I’ll start to throw in random stuff like shopping lists and recipe ideas to give you something else to read rather than me emptying my head at the end of a hard day’s work!

So my lovelies, what have we in store for you on this, the 24th edition of the musomusofm on the radar playlist? You can expect some killer new tracks from acts including May Roze, Lavender Honey, Salvatore Manalo and Toyz to name just 4 of the 9 acts included.

I have another 9 tracks of killer music to tell you all about courtesy of some incredible acts and bands from all over the world.

When you’re ready, hit the play button on the playlist below and enjoy. Whilst you do so, why not check out the bios and social links from our feature artists which can be found below the playlist.

See you on the other side.

May Roze is a London based singer-songwriter-producer, born and raised in Switzerland. True to her Aquarius sign, she loves to create and innovate and has been focusing on this since the start of her journey years ago. Knowing where she was heading from the start, she performed on stage for the first time at just 3 years old!

After hearing her recently released single ‘Heal’, we wanted to learn more about this incredible musician and delve back into her younger years where she started performing from the age of 3!

We caught up with May Roze and had a great chat about her early days, influences, home life, the music scene in both Switzerland and London and most importantly, what she’ll be preparing for us when we come round for dinner! For all of this and a LOT more, carry on reading!

“This Liverpool gang want it all – and they’re probably going to get it” NME

“Un-f$$k-with-able attitude of Godzilla smashing down the street with a tequila in hand” DIY

“The band alchemise fuzztoned garage rock into something that feels fresh, electrifying and vital” MOJO

“This is without a doubt the best The Mysterines have ever sounded" Jack Saunders

‘SHOOT ME YOUR ACE’
THE NEW ALBUM OUT APRIL 15TH 2022
FEATURING THE SINGLES ‘WOLFMAN’,
‘RIGHT ON’ AND ‘SHOOT ME YOUR ACE’

Ready to heat up 2022, UK pop singer and songwriter Mimi Webb has unveiled a new single and music video “House On Fire” today via Epic Records/RCA.

“wonderful new album, Small World… captures the strangeness of the past two years: how we learnt to value the simple things — family, friends, nature, leisure — as we grappled with upheaval and fear.” - Sunday Times Culture
“Small World might just have the biggest heart of any Metronomy record yet” - Rolling Stone UK
“The British indie-synth-pop troupe are at their jolliest here, clopping into your happy place on a jaunty Chicago house bassline” - The Guardian
“Metronomy are hitting pause on coy indie electronica and exploring more straightforward, heart-on-sleeve material for their new album ‘Small World’” - NME
"Small World is inhabited by earworms, a sepia-tinged record that recalls loves and summers past... Fittingly, the most joy on Small World is found in its microscopic details, the moments with a precise curatorial touch leaving the best taste in the mouth” - Loud and Quiet

With a voice that makes the hairs on your neck stand on end and a musical style that demands your attention, Kristian Phillip Valentino is someone you should get to know and to save you the hassle of tracking him down in his hometown, we caught up with him recently for a good chat about the record, early musical memories, future plans and the question that everyone is itching to ask, what is his favourite cheese, read on for all of this and way more….

With the imminent release of 'Lunar Orbit', a superb documentary about pioneering ambient act The Orb, musomuso were lucky enough to put some questions to director/producer Patrick Buchanan on a true passion project, about taking on numerous roles during the production, how he got into The Orb, and...pizza.

All will become clear...

Would you believe it….it’s February 18th already, this means that we are more than midway through the second month of 2022 already, I really don’t know where the time goes, the last time I thought about it, the New Year was dawning and fresh challenges greeted us, that was 6 weeks ago….42 days to be precise!

Anyway, less of the fact that my life is running away from me like a runaway mine cart and back onto the topic of new music.

We have 9 amazing tracks for you on the playlist courtesy of 9 acts from all over the place.

When I saw that Wildwood Kin are to appear on the bill of ‘A Perfect Day’ Festival which is being hosted at Powderham Castle just outside Exeter on Sunday 3rd July, I thought it would be a great opportunity to catch up with the ladies and have a chat about what they’ve been up to lately and try and tease out them some information on any new material….

I’ve dug deep and unearthed another 9 stunning tracks from unsigned acts from all over the world, you’ll be glad to hear that they are not slushy, romantic numbers but they are all very very good and certainly deserve 30 minutes of your precious time.

Witchcore duo HVIRESS (pronounced Heiress) return with their second single "Golden Apple" - a pop-tinged dark electro gem with a saccharine-sweet video to make your eyes cry sugar lumps…..

We were so intrigued with the track and accompanying video that we thought it best to get in touch and arrange an interview with the duo. We chatted about their fascination of the occult, the importance of classical music, their ‘come dine with me’ menu and what constitutes a perfect day….

I stumbled upon a track called ‘Rsm Smile’ by a London based artist going by the name Fanchon. I listened to it and like it….a lot, so we decided to get in touch to see if Fanchon would be up for an interview feature on the site, she said yes and here we are….

Read on to learn more about her musical upbringing (her father sounds like one cool motherf*cker), how she came to acquire her first guitar, her approach to writing music, her live music setup, her dream festival lineup and goodness knows what else!

Grab yourself a beer/brew and get comfy as this is a good one!

I was approached by a Cornish singer songwriter called Nichola Rey recently and asked if I would take a listen to her latest track ‘Fate of the Lonely’, I did, I liked it and suggested that we did an interview feature on the website so more people can read all about her and be given the chance to check out her music.

Read on to find out all about her early musical memories, the music scene in Newquay, musical influences, travelling, her approach to songwriting and even rubbing shoulders with the mighty Paul Carrack and being invited to join his band on the road. For all of this and much more, grab yourselves a beer or a brew and get comfy, you’re gonna like it…..

Ahead of embarking on a 19 date tour to celebrate 15 years of the band being together, we catch up with the wonderfully talented Melanie Pain, one of the vocalists of French Bossa Nova covers band NOUVELLE VAGUE to chat about their sightseeing plans in the UK, their favourite songs to perform live, their desire to cover a SMITHS album and receiving feedback from bands on the songs that they have painted with their ‘Bossa Nova’ paintbrush in the past.

Read on for all of this and much more!
