We caught up with Chris Cleverley to chat about his recently released 4th album ‘Broadcast the Secret Verse’, his UK tour, his recording process, sexism in the industry and which new artists are currently on his personal playlist, read on for more…..

After finding out that one of my fave South West based bands (Colour TV) were supporting Mike Joyce (The Smiths drummer) when he performs a DJ set at the New Lion Brewery in Dartington on December 3rd, I got in touch with Sam Durneen, singer of the aforementioned and threw a bunch of questions at him to ponder. Set for release on Friday 9th December via Partisan, Five Years of Brutalism will be re-issued on limited cherry-red vinyl with alternative artwork. The digital package will feature the entire set from their surprise performance from the BBC Introducing Stage at this year’s Glastonbury.

On the 8th of November, Chris Cleverley starts his UK tour supporting the release of his fourth album 'Broadcast The Secret Verse' taking to the stage in venues across England and Scotland. And although he’ll be travelling as far as Glasgow, Hull, Colchester and Somerset from his native Bedford, Chris will be taking the album back to the place where it was born - Totnes, for a live show on Friday 18th November.
