I entered the venue confused, not in a fuddled state of mind but confused about the band. What I had heard to date was a cross between sickly sweet pop sing-a-longs and stadium sized catchy bangers that go down a storm at large outdoor festivals in front of a sea of 18-25 year olds after a day on the cider.

Taking place on Tuesday 17th January 2023 from 7PM at The Jolly Farmer, Newton Abbot, the evening includes a short documentary, a fun quiz with great prizes, comic tales from the crazy world of record retailing and a Q&A with Graham Jones and Pip Piper, the film's director.

Bristol punkers CUFFS have announced a tour that kicks off on January 6th in Newport followed by a few more dates in February covering Reading, London, Brighton, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.

A fantastic event has been setup to raise money for the Forward for Wiz Trust and to gather as many friends together for a wonderful night of live music, entertainment with a host of comperes and the best of all, there’s a raffle…..

StormbounD band was formed in 2018 in Tel-Aviv, Israel by bassist Pavel Kleiman and guitarist and vocalist Ofer Friedman. Next to join were Ofer's wife Shani Friedman on guitar, Yuval Partush on drums, Rotem Sadia on the keyboard, and Yael Horwitz as lead singer. All members of the band are well-established professional musicians. Their latest album, December, was released on August 5th 2022. We caught up with the band to find out a bit more about them….

It’s a cold, cold Saturday evening and there is snow in the air. Hailing from Jonkoping in Sweden, stoner rock quartet Insonika started as a fun jam-project and later turned into a serious act and a force to be reckoned with on the Swedish live circuit. Having played together for a little over five years, they have released an EP as well as a full-length album, 'False Awakening', in 2019. Their latest album 'Pithos' was released on October 31st 2022. We caught up with lead guitarist/vocalist Oscar Flanagan to chat about how the band formed, early shows, meeting heroes, strange stage antics and his fave 3 albums in the world ever…..
