London’s rock renegades LEAP have dropped their latest sonic gut-punch, Waste Your Love—a cathartic anthem that doubles as a love letter to their ever-growing fanbase and a preview of their upcoming debut album Entropy, landing October 3rd.
Written in the wake of guitarist Baby Mason’s heartbreak, Waste Your Love is more than just a breakup song—it’s a testament to the healing power of community, chaos, and rock ’n roll. “LEAP became the escape,” frontman Jacky Scott explains. “Whether it’s grief, anxiety, or your mind playing sadistic games, LEAP is pure escapism. A bit of respite, a bit of love and support, a sprinkle of mosh pits and a fatty slice of rock n roll and you’re sorted”.
The track’s video captures that ethos in full throttle, inviting fans from across Europe to join the band in a whirlwind 24-hour party. The result? A sweaty, emotional celebration of connection that feels more like a movement than a music video.
LEAP’s debut album Entropy promises to be their most raw and ambitious work yet. Self-released and forged in the fires of personal struggle, the record is a high-voltage blend of heavy riffs, electronic flourishes, and anthemic pop. It’s also deeply personal—Jacky’s lyrics trace his journey from major label highs to psychiatric ward lows, all while dancing through London’s gritty underbelly.
With over 35,000 tickets sold across the UK and Europe, LEAP’s explosive live shows have built a fiercely loyal fanbase. Their first three EPs earned support from BBC Radio 1, Rolling Stone, MTV, Virgin Radio, and BBC Introducing—and Entropy looks set to push them into the stratosphere.
“It feels wild to be announcing the album,” Jacky says. “We’re a tiny team—just us four and some mates—but the hustle has been outrageous. Seeing fans connect with the music on a proper emotional level, that’s the most rewarding part. It’s a break from your head, a chance to let go. That’s exactly what it is for us too”.
