Following on from the success of their rendition of ‘Thunderball’, cinematic metallers Opensight have quickly returned with their latest video for ‘Stained Remains’. Inspired by frontman Ivan Amaya’s love for classic giallo films of the 1970s, the clip premiered with renowned film magazine Starburst earlier this month with the single getting an official release on November 5th.

Norwegian metallers I, The Betrayer have released a new video for their latest single ‘Guise Of The Infectious’! The track is the band’s latest offering since the release of their 2017 EP “7”, which saw them grace the pages of Metal Hammer and Norway Rock Magazine among others and is a prelude to an upcoming record set for release in 2022.

Riding high off the release of their 5th studio album A Matter of Life & Love (available NOW on Xtra Mile Recordings) the band are currently making their way around the country, playing to packed houses and putting huge smiles on fan’s faces. Tonight saw the Skinny Lister bus arrive at The Fleece in Bristol where they were supported by label mates BERRIES, read on to see how the evening unfolded.

The band debuted at the Halloween Fest in Montijo, Portugal, alongside Moonspell and Bizarra Locomotiva and despite not being seen before, the crowd really got into their music, which is a tremendous accomplishment for an up and coming band.

Gonçalo leads me through a PACKED, medium sized club - for my interviewee is patiently awaiting my arrival in the green room as his band have just finished the last few songs that I saw on stage (brilliant, by the way). Suddenly, there he is in front of me, Fábio Rafael, the bass player for FEAR THE LORD, a hardcore band that is known quite well to the people in the Portuguese metal scene.

From the moment Devil in Me walked onto the stage, the crowd went absolutely insane. It could’ve been the Hollywood Vampires up there and not just a post-punk band from the Southern coast of Portugal, where they spend their days surfing and skateboarding. And we ALL know what comes with skateboarding and surfing - PUNK MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
