Tales of Autumn are a four piece band from Brighton, with heavy influences of metal, hard rock and "slow whiney stuff" (there words not mine!) Their music features tasty drum beats, face melting riffs and a voice so powerful it could literally kill a man! We caught up with the guys and chatted about their influences, dream producers and the ultimate festival lineup....

With so many venues up and down the country saying 'adios' and shutting up shop more and more these days, it was a pleasure to be invited to The Underground on Mutley Plain in Plymouth to watch 3 incredible bands. 

We heard of JEEN back in September 2014 when we chatted to her for one of our award winning 'Introducing' sessions (you can read the feature HERE) and have been keeping a close eye on her ever since. Imagine my surprise when an email popped into my inbox from JEEN with news of a new single and forthcoming album, read more below....

We caught up with Nottingham based dystopian metal band DEATHFLUX for a chat about the early days of the band, influences and their debut album which has received rave reviews across the board, here's how we got on.... 

Elevation Falls are a 5 piece Dublin based rock/blues band who count Thin Lizzy, Alter Bridge, Halestorm and Nirvana amongst their influences. They recently featured in Classic Rock Magazine as a 'Track of the Week' contender and are riding high after the release of their latest album What Will Be

Tonight was one of those nights, one that may very well be told to my children and to their children and to any other children that will listen! I was due to take photographs and review a band called Supersonic Blues Machine at the Shepherds Bush Empire. I knew little about the band other than blues rock legend Kris Barras was singing and playing guitar and that a very special guest in the form of Billy F Gibbons from US blues rock legends ZZ TOP would be making an appearance on stage at some point during the evening!

It was the opening night of Greenwich Music Time, a live outdoor music event that takes place in the heart of the Maritime College in Greenwich. Emeli Sande was headlining tonight’s show, read on to see how the evening unfolded….

The first single I ever bought was “Rise” by Public Image Ltd. I have to admit, as a rebellious teenager, I was, primarily drawn to it because of the cover – for those who don’t remember it just had the word ‘Single’, in black in a basic font on a plain white background. Then it was anarchic, these days it’s iconic. I only wish I still had it, as well as being a great song, it also might be worth a bob or two…..
