Festival season is in full flow and last weekend it was the turn of CORNBURY to welcome the crowds soak up the lush surroundings of Great Tew Park for a weekend of fun and frivolity. The lineup was, as in previous years impressive.

Recorded live at her landmark SOLD-OUT home town show in Nottingham’s Trinity Church earlier this year, the album will comprise 12 tracks of spellbinding original material (some never before released), choice cover-versions, plus candid conversation that elegantly captures all sides of Georgie in one of her greatest performances to date. 

Let AMBER RUN’S latest offering ‘Affection’ seep into your very bones. The chiller will make its way onto their third album, Philophobia, out September 27th. Furthermore, the band will be touring their new material worldwide from September to November.

Off the back of the incredible latest album ‘I Trawl The Megahertz‘, Prefab Sprout have announced exciting release plans for remastered vinyl versions of three of the band’s classic albums along with their incredible greatest hits collection ‘A Life of Surprises: The Best Of’ - out September 27th. From the remastering and artwork, to sourcing new images, the project has been fully orchestrated by both Paddy and Martin McAloon.

FRANK TURNER has announced details of his forthcoming eighth new album NO MAN’S LAND released on August 16th on Xtra Mile Recordings/Polydor Records. With 2018 Producer of the Year Catherine Marks at the helm and featuring a dynamic cast of all-female musicians, No Man’s Land is an album dedicated to telling the fascinating stories of women whose incredible lives have all too often been overlooked by dint of their gender. “These stories should have been told already,” says Turner of the album and its accompanying podcast series, ‘Tales From No Man’s Land’ which launches its first episode today. “And I suspect if they were men they would be better known.”

“We’re not trying to be anyone else, we don’t want to be like anyone else, if you aren’t doing your own thing what’s the point?”

There is this curious equilibrium to existence: In order to create balance, the universe must giveth, and the universe must taketh. Kyle Craft, along with his now solidified backing band dubbed Showboat Honey, know this all too well. And this is why their self-titled album, the contemplative yet restless Showboat Honey (Sub Pop Records, July 12th, 2019) reflects that sturm und drang. “This is basically an album centered around bad luck and good fortune hitting at the same time,” Craft explains “Then, out of nowhere, I find love. Everything went to shit except that. I guess that’s how life works.”
